Visible Friends present GET REAL 6Comedy you can believe in!
A fundraiser for the Out There Science Fair this fall.

Hosted by:
DOOGIE HORNER  @DoogieHorner | doogiehorner.com

Doogie Horner is a comedian, writer, and artist. He is the author of 100 Ghosts (Quirk Books, 2013) and Everything Explained Through Flowcharts (HarperCollins, 2010). His art and writing have appeared in Wired, McSweeney’s, Fast Company, Boing Boing, the Believer, the London Times, the Sun, and other publications. His comedy achieved national attention when a video of him taming a hostile crowd on America’s Got Talent became a viral sensation. Doogie won the 2010 Philly’s Funniest competition, and his alternative comedy show The Ministry of Secret Jokes won Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly award in 2011. He has designed numerous book covers, including Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Doogie might very well be “so talented it’s not even funny.”

With special guest:
MICHELLE BILOON  @biloon | biloon.com

Michelle has appeared on E!’s “Chelsea Lately”, Comedy Central’s “The Gong Show with Dave Attell”, CBS’s “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson”, Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” Byron Allen’s “Comedy.tv” and NickMom’s “Mom’s Night Out.” She started doing standup in 2000 in Austin, Texas. In 2004, she moved to LA until March, when she moved here to Philly!  Want to know something else about her? She loves Judge Judy! Also, her mother has also been quoted as saying, “I watched the tape of her before I left for bowling and I laughed so hard that I had to go redo my makeup.” And that’s the truth, jackasses. Check out her podcast The Biloon/Forrest Project. And buy her album, You Can Be An Asshole digitally on iTunes and physically on Astrecords.com. One more thing. She is motherfucking hilarious.

Plus special musical guest:
GEORGE HRAB@GeorgeHrab

A multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and heliocentrist, Hrab has written and produced six independent CDs; performed for President Clinton; shared the stage with Elton John, Bernie Worrell, and many others; and has traveled across the country both as a drummer for the nationally recognized Philadelphia Funk Authority and as defacto President for Life of The Geologic Orchestra. Humbly following in the footsteps of such icons as Frank Zappa, Mark Twain, Carl Sagan, Will Rogers, and, yes, even Penn & Teller, Hrab has made it a personal quest to improve the cognitive thinking skills of each and every American by reaching them through their funny bones and dancing shoes.

George Hrab has gained international notoriety in the skeptic community with his award-winning weekly show The Geologic Podcast. “Hrab brilliantly serves up the news of the week through sketches, music, and skeptical/free-thinking commentary with a bit of help from a cast of extraordinary characters straight out of his fertile imagination.”

Download his free app: “The George Hrapp provides access to every episode of the Geologic Podcast, thousands of witty twitter jokes and a selection of George’s songs.”
